Sunset at Prislop

I have long been a fan of this artist's work. His photographs give me the chance to see places I'll never see.

But this one demanded more than a fave and comment, so I hit the critique button.

I love the darkness of this photo, making everything visible stand out. The sky color and moon behind the building give the silhouettes a cool, crisp feeling adding darkness without the sense of "ominousness" that often accompanies silhouette photography.

The photo blends seamlessly into the wide border and I love the tree to the right angling in the way it does.

Photography, like any other art form, should engender an automatic response in the viewer, brought on unconsciously, just by viewing it.
